Pretty Scrumptious DecorateHER Institute

Creative Entrepreneurship Program for High School Girls (Grades 9–12) Turn your creativity into a business you love.

DecorateHER Institute is where creativity meets confidence. Learn cake decorating, build your own brand, sell treats online, and explore what’s possible through hands-on classes, mentorship, and an unforgettable day trip to NYC and weekend trip to Los Angeles.

DecorateHER Institute is a multi-month creative education program designed to introduce girls to the worlds of pastry arts and entrepreneurship in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Through beginner-friendly cake decorating instruction, branding development, and mentorship, students learn that creativity can be transformed into confidence, ownership, and real opportunity. Participants are guided step-by-step as they develop their own personal brand, strengthen their technical pastry skills, and gain exposure to the tools needed to show up professionally—both online and in real life.

The program emphasizes more than just skill-building. Students are encouraged to see themselves as capable creators and future entrepreneurs, learning how to present their work, share their story, and sell products online with confidence and intention. Along the way, they are supported by mentors, guest speakers, and industry professionals who model what’s possible.

DecorateHER Institute also provides educational exposure beyond the classroom. Students participate in curated field trips to pastry arts institutions and creative spaces, culminating in an end-of-program educational experience in Los Angeles. These experiences allow students to envision future pathways in pastry arts, hospitality, and creative entrepreneurship.

By the end of the program, participants leave with strengthened creative skills, a clear sense of identity, real-world experience, and the confidence to pursue their goals—inside and outside the kitchen.
